The Rxsounik.gronk.Substratum and the Superlove Music Studio fully embrace the subtle linguistics of poetry culture ripened and maturated for the picking.  As well as hosting community Poetry Slams and Think-Tanks for Language Arts and the intellectually, emotionally & verbally gifted- our collaboration strives to nurture the ruffled and chagrined soul coming to terms with it's own profundity.  Poetry allegorically exhumes the lubrication for friction.   Free-form recitation cleaves our demure fetters inviting an expansive roam, a walkabout amidst the incongruous space of the abstract and under-known.  In the ocean, poetry is the undertow... a dynamism observed, however indirectly; it's  a periphery force, felt,...  an awareness purloined by the distance mysteriously traversed.  In the sky, poetry is that incandescent glow...  reflections inciting be-wonderment, the nestlings silent witness,  eternal questions echoed beyond our universe... perception stolen, enveloped and forged by rhyme, stanza and line. 

An Astronomer once said, "to definitively see a star you mustn't look directly at, but observe it in your periphery, concentrating on the space to the side."  Poetry poses a similar quandary and diametrically presents an opportunity; elevation via SUBSTRATUM,  as above, so below.

The Invention of Zero

What like was it this abundant world where nothing was not— no neat ring shackling us to absence, no way not to count or be counted— where everything filled without this empty nest of a number perched in the mind, everything swerved its wide white oblivion; and could we, given the state of our knowledge, live with the lack of it unable to quantify certain populations in the wild, the exhaustion of our reserves, the number and intensity of cries in the night?
